Local election 2022 - Welsh Labour gains in Cardiff North

Welsh Labour made some impressive gains in Cardiff North in yesterday's local council elections.

We now hold eleven council seats in the constituency - up from four following November's by-election in 2021.

In areas where we didn't make gains, such as Lisvane & Thornhill, Rhiwbina, and Pontprennau & Old St Mellons, we came within 50 or so votes of winning a seat.

I am looking forward to working with Anna and our new and existing councillors to represent all of the people of Cardiff North and deliver the very best for our communities.
